We live by the coast in rural Lincolnshire, in a former farmhouse surrounded by an acre of paddock for the dogs to run in.  We have four GBGV, five Miniature Wire Haired Dachshunds, one very loud Westie.

We acquired our first GBGV from Lynne Owens, in 1993.  Molly enjoyed her show career and was top Puppy GBGV in 1994. She won numerous Import Register awards and finally retired at the age of five. A Molly son Kandecx Glenfiddich had the honour of being the first GBGV to win Best Puppy in Show at the BGV Club Championship Show. We kept a dog from Molly and called him Kandecx Elvis On Stage. Elvis had a prolific show career and we retired him after winning Best Dog and Best Opposite Sex at Crufts.

We have five Mini Wire Dachshunds, we do not show them but thy are a great little breed, a ’big dog in a little body’. We had the first litter of Mini’s in 2003. Although they are small they get on famously with the GBGVs.
